Overview
During this 2-hour sea kayak experience, we will paddle from the beach of Chorefto to a nearby secluded beach, hidden behind an iconic rock, where you can swim, play, or simply relax.

What you’ll do
For us sea kayaking is the perfect way to visit nearby beaches and spend some fun time, splashing around the waters of the Aegean Sea. That’s why we created a sea kayak tour, suitable for almost everybody, including families with young children or people who have never done any water sports.
We will meet at the beach of Chorefto where after a short brief by your sea kayaking instructor, we will enter the water and paddle along the coast, past the beach of Agii Saranta, to a private beach, only reachable by water.
When you board off your kayak you will have time to explore the coast, have a swim, or lie in the sun, before we go back to the starting point of the trip!
The guided sea kayaking tour “Short Paddle” is an easy and family-friendly activity for people who want to get acquainted with sea kayaking or just want to have some fun in the sea!

This 2-hour kayaking experience was one of the highlights of our 8 days in Pelion! We highly recommend it. Our guide, Giorgio, was wonderful and added so much fun to our experience. Loved seeing the beaches from the sea. The sweet watermelon at our magical stop was a fun treat.

It was amazing – the sea, the views, the beach, the kayaking itself and of course George – a very informative guide, always with a smile, taking care of all participants, paying attention to everyone and everything. We were with 3 children – 9, 16, 18 – all enjoyed the tour.

We went with Yorgos on a short paddle experience, 2 parents with 3 boys ages 13, 11 and 8. we had the best time, Yorgos is a great guide for beginners and also for more experienced. The gear was very well maintained and the beach was absolutely amazing!

We use sit-on-top kayaks. Mostly doubles unless the number of guests requires the use of singles.
This activity is light and requires a basic level of effort. Totally suitable for beginners.
No, the famous sea caves of Pelion are located 10 nautical miles (18 km) north of Chorefto; at the uninhabited part of the mountain. You can however visit them by joining our “Sea Caves of Thetis” boat trip.
We will try to reschedule or propose an alternative experience suitable for you. If neither is possible, we will cancel your reservation free of charge.
Yes, but we strongly recommend that you talk to your doctor before you travel and ask for motion sickness medication to use during the tour.

No, this experience is not appropriate for children under the age of 4.
The “Short Paddle” is designed for families with young children and people who want to simply test the waters, and get an introduction to kayaking. “The Secret Cave” is more suitable for people who want to explore the coast and families with older kids.
Tipping in Greece is not required but it is expected when a customer is satisfied with the services provided. It is common to tip 5-10% of the Experience’s price.
