Overview
On this 4-hour sea kayak excursion, we will explore a secret cave along with some coves, and sandy beaches of East Pelion while kayaking along the shore of one of its most unspoiled parts.

What you’ll do
Kayaking is a truly unique way of exploring Pelion. Not just because it is the best way to visit the off-the-beaten-path part of the coast, but also because there is something stunning about the view of the mountain from the sea. That’s why we created a kayak excursion for people who look for a slow travel adventure full of powerful moments.
We will meet at the beach of Chorefto where after a short brief, we will jump on our colourful sit-on-top kayaks, our vessel for the day. After some training along the rocky shore, we paddle southwards, to explore a secret sea cave, enjoy the wild coast and take in the sublime scenery along the way.
After our snack break, we will slowly paddle back towards Chorefto, to a small secluded beach tucked away behind a dramatic rock. There we will stop for a swim and some rest before we get back on our kayaks to continue our way back to the starting point of the excursion.
If you are looking for an exciting adventure or simply want to explore some unknown gems of the east coast of Pelion then this experience will not let you down.

Frequently Asked Questions
We use sit-on-top kayaks. Mostly doubles unless the number of guests requires the use of singles.
Although this activity is suitable for beginners, its level is moderate and requires a relatively normal to good physical condition.
We do visit a secret cave, but to avoid any confusion please note that the famous sea caves of Pelion are located 10 nautical miles (18 km) north of Chorefto; at the uninhabited part of the mountain. You can however visit them by joining our “Sea Caves of Thetis” boat trip.
We will try to reschedule or propose an alternative experience suitable for you. If neither is possible, we will cancel your reservation free of charge.
Yes, but we strongly recommend that you talk to your doctor before you travel and ask for motion sickness medication to use during the tour.

No, this experience is not appropriate for children under the age of 8.
“The Secret Cave” is more suitable for people who want to explore the coast and families with older kids. The “Short Paddle” is designed for families with young children and people who want to simply test the waters, and get an introduction to kayaking.
Tipping in Greece is not required but it is expected when a customer is satisfied with the services provided. It is common to tip 5-10% of the Experience’s price.
