Description
We know that driving along the curvy roads of Pelion can be quite stressful, especially when you plan to visit all the beautiful beaches that are spread out along the east coast. This is why we created a boat cruise where you can do exactly that, stress-free.
Starting from either Chorefto or Agios Ioannis “Mamma Mia” is a 3-hour boat experience that takes you to some of the most well-known landmarks of Pelion: the beach of Fakistra and its grand cave, the port of Damouchari a Mamma Mia fan favourite, the beach of Mylopotamos an unbeatable Instagram sensation and finally the hard-to-reach but so worth it beach of Limnionas.
During this trip, we will make short stops to swim in the waters of Fakistra and Limnionas, pause to take photos of Damouchari, Mylopotamos and Fakistra’s cave and last, but not least, we’ll explore the translucent waters of a secret place along the coast that few people know about (and we want to keep it this way).
“Mamma Mia” is an ideal experience for travellers who want to avoid the curves and the hustle.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between your boat trips?
They take place in different areas. “Mamma Mia” travels the central east coast of the peninsula, while our favourite and strongly recommended “Sea Caves of Thetis” brings us to the northeast and uninhabited Pelion, to the area of the legendary sea caves.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A trip will be cancelled in case of rain, winds stronger than 10 knots, and/or wave height greater than 0.6 meters. In such case, if there is availability you will be able to reschedule your trip or just cancel it (of course with no cancellation fees).
What type of boat are you using?
We use a 7-meter long open boat, powered with a 175 horsepower motor.
Does the boat have a tent?
Yes, it does. But do not expect much since boat tents provide basic cover for just a small part of the boat. This is also affected by the angle of the sun and the direction of the boat. Come prepared with sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses.
How many people will be on the boat?
The boat is licenced to take on board maximum 10 guests. The average number of participants joining this trip is 6.
We are a group of more than 10 people, can we join this trip?
Yes, you can! For groups of 11+ people, we use additionally a second boat of approximately the same characteristics. This means that your group will travel at the same time, but divided into two boats. You will be able to be with your friends and family during the swimming breaks.
Which option should I choose as a starting point?
You may choose either the port of Chorefto or the port of Agios Ioannis, as the starting point for your trip. We advise you on choosing the closest location to your accommodation or the one fitting better with the rest of your plans for that day.
